"Nicely ripened in a way that avoids sweetness and instead puts the accent on well-defined, distinctively curranty fruit, this one counts integrated oak as an appealing asset and shows very fine and consistent focus. It is full-bodied and backed up with plenty of proper Cabernet grip, but it is also showing the first signs of suppleness that are sure to become more palpable with time. Lay it away for another three to five years, then pair it with juicy chops and steaks."
